As Star Wars: The Old Republic is approaching release, we will have much to add to this guide Trooper SWTOR, including details on building and more concrete information on the specs may be the best. Based on what we know so far, I think the Trooper SWTOR is likely to be a tank class and remote high DPS, but I need to see healing and melee DPS specializations in action before I can make a call to judge these classes. Maybe the tree will be there to give a specification avant-garde solo viable and swtor credits to help them deal extra damage when tanking boss in melee.

Regardless, I can not imagine that the specialization of scrimmage for the Trooper would be very large building, just because it's an isolated tree without natural pair. It might be interesting. Especially for duels but if you can combine the capabilities of high melee damage with the defensive capabilities of specialist Shield and capabilities varied specialist Assault (shared the talent tree). We'll see soon.

The specialization of talents allows the Commando artillery to be really a commando and focus on varied, high-power DPS enjoying the assault gun brand. I think players should be able to combine this just fine with the specialist assault (the talent tree split) and cheap swtor credits if they want to play this class as a full-time DPS. It will be a viable class, but it is unlikely to have more than a handful of viable builds.

I'm not completely sold on the tree Combat Medic - a simple healing talent tree by itself. It may be difficult to be a main healer and he will certainly have some very strong capacity if it wants to stand toe to toe with a class that has two casting talent trees like the Jedi Consular.
